The Brewhouse Sessions: Jeremiah and The Red Eyes

Sammartano, the Flagstaff, Arizona-based, Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter who fronts the bluesy/Americana and sometimes one-man band, Jeremiah and the Red Eyes, has covered many miles over the past several years. His music is influenced by the raw blues of Charley Patton, the lyrical and often raucous sounds of The Pogues, the twang of Willie Nelson, and some vintage rock and roll.

Jeremiah has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Southern Culture On The Skids, David Olney, and has performed on the following radio shows: WDVX Blue Plate Special (Knoxville, TN) KRFC The Live@Lunch show on KRFC (Fort Collins, CO) and ResonanceFM (London, UK).

In Spring 2011 Jeremiah received an Emmy nomination for writing music for the documentary, Prison Through Tomorrow's Eyes. He has released three albums: Red Eyed And Restless (2004), Under Your Spell (2010), and in December 2012, a 10 song album called HOME. Since 2015 Jeremiah has busy with trips through the Southwest, a tour through the UK, numerous shows all over the country. A new album, "These Motel Days," was released on March 31, 2018.

We're incredibly fortunate to have Jeremiah playing his own version of "Delta Blues and Twangy Grooves" at Black Shirt on March 22. Keep in mind that seating is limited, so we recommend you arrive on the early side.
